Information for candidates we contacted

You received a message based on data that was not collected from you directly. Below is the information you are entitled to under Art. 14 GDPR — and the way to object to being contacted.

Who processes your data?

Research and provision of the profile data is carried out by Agentiva (owner: Mohsen Ghulami), Kastanienweg 7, 50389 Wesseling, Deutschland. Contact: hello@jobtiva.ai.

The message itself was sent by the hiring company, not by Jobtiva. That company is responsible for the content of the approach and for any further use of your data in its hiring process; it is named in the message.

What data, and from where?

Only work-related details are processed: name, current job title, employer, region, career history, education, public profile picture and — where available — business contact details.

The source is the provider Apollo.io, which aggregates publicly available professional profiles. Publicly available information from your employer's website may also be included.

For what purpose, on what basis?

The purpose is initiating an employment relationship (recruitment). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in filling open positions and in your possible interest in a career move; only professional, never private, details are processed.

Who receives your data?

The company that contacted you. Beyond that, technical service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, data source) — the full list is in our privacy policy.

How long is it stored?

Until the purpose ceases to apply, at the latest when the respective search at the contacting company concludes. If you object, your record is blocked immediately.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Please write to hello@jobtiva.ai.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for instance the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.

Object to being contacted

The objection takes effect immediately and across every company using our people search. We do not delete your record but block it permanently — otherwise the same entry would reappear the next time we query the source.
